Jessie Reyes V. Hernandez, 63, of Mineral Wells, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at his home. Memorial services will be 2 PM Saturday at the Truth Tabernacle Church, Rev. Larry Lynch officiating. Mr. Hernandez was born January 6, 1946 in Mexico the son of Cesario and Socorro Hernandez and lived in Mineral Wells since 1979. He was a painter and had worked for the City of Mineral Wells, but most of the time he was trading; buying and selling merchandise. He attended the Truth Tabernacle Church in Mineral Wells, but one of his proudest moments was when he received legal citizenship into the United States in 2008. Survivors include his sons, Jessie Hernandez, Jr., Aaron Hernandez, Marcus Hernandez, Stephen Hernandez and Israel Hernandez; brothers and sisters, Roy, Maria, Arthur, Armando, Teresa, Martha, David, Rachel, Joel and Benjamin; grandchildren, Mya Denise, Courtney and Matthew; numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that all remembrances and memorials be made to support his two minor sons, Aaron and Marcos in care of Israel Hernandez.
