Joe Earl Baker

Joe Earl Baker passed away May 5, 2021. He was born October 7, 1952 in Mineral Wells. Joe was a longtime Disc Jockey and a member of Cowtown Society of Western Music. On the CSWM Facebook page they stated, “He was a great promoter of Western Swing and Western Music Artists and he worked hard for so many years to preserve the rich heritage of this genre of music.”

Survivors include his life partner, Laura Fouke and his son, Justin Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tommy Stevenson and Randy Baker.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
