John Lewis Hurst, 72, of Mineral Wells, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010at his home. Memorial services, a celebration of his life, will be 10 amSaturday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Guests are encouraged tocome in casual dress.John was survived by his wife Shirley Hurst; a son Brian Hurst; a daughter,Stephanie "Peppi" Trainham ;grandchildren, Megan, Jeremy and Brandy;great-granddaughter, Bryce; a half-brother, Ben Hughey and two half-sisters,Barbara Sheppard and Marie Phillips, several nieces and nephews. He waspreceded in death by a son, Shawn Hurst.He was a veteran of the United States Army.
