John Lee Turpin

John Lee Turpin of Mineral Wells, Texas passed away August 16, 2013 in Saginaw, Texas. He was surrounded by his family as he was ushered into Heaven. He was born November 7, 1939 in Spur, Texas. He had a long and distinguished career in law enforcement, the US Army Reserve, and as a volunteer firefighter. John is survived by his wife, Ernestine Turpin, 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many friends. Visitation will Friday, August 23rd at Baum-Carlock-Baumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells from 6-8 p.m.. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 24th at the First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells at 10:00 a.m. with burial following in Woodland Park Cemetery.
