On November 13, 2022 Johnnie Lee Jackson earned his wings and went to walk with the angels. He was 67 years old. He was born April 11, 1955 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Johnnie Jackson Sr. and Alice Hicks Jackson.

Johnnie loved talking with friends and family about sports but most of all he loved the Dallas Cowboys. In his spare time, he would attend his grandkid’s, niece’s and nephew’s sporting events.

Survivors include his sister, Carol Jackson; children; Kenisha Richardson (Clyde), Johnny Johnson, Shomari Carson (Teisha), Tonya Johnson and Candice Johnson; Grandchildren, Sierra Dixon (Rickey), Eliasha Defell, Diamond Shultz, Khalil Thompson, Jayla Schultz, Naudika Reedy, Khyria Irwins, Aniya Richardson, Legend Johnson, Julian Johnson, Teiana Marez and Tristen Marez; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Marcellus Marez; nephews, Jerome Jackson (Jelani) and Jaice; nieces, Breianna and Jaiona Jackson; and numerous friends and family.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Visitation is Friday, November 18, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Pollard Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
