Jose Delgado

Mr. Delgado was born on April 28, 1929 in Salesville, Texas to Gregorio Delgado and Maria Acosta. Rudy was an avid Texas Ranger and Cowboy fan. He enjoyed fishing with his sons. He was a musician and played accordion with his brother in-law, Miguel Ortiz accompanying him on guitar. For 42 years Rudy worked in the sample room house at the Acme Brick plant in Bennett, Texas from 1949 to 1991. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Delgado, father Gregorio, mother Maria, brother Emilio Delgado and sister Carmen Davila. He is survived by four sons, four daughters and their spouses. Elizabeth Gori and husband John from Nottingham, MD, David Delgado from Mineral Wells, Joe and Pam Delgado from Millsap, Robert and Claudia Delgado from Katy, Texas, Suzanne Valles from Ft Worth, Christina and Robert Avants from Mineral Wells, Cheryl Delgado from San Antonio and Daniel Delgado from Abilene, Tx, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held Tuesday, 4-18 at 6:00 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on 4-19 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes, Catholic Church in Mineral Wells. Burial will be at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, TX.
