Judy Kay Wampler, 74, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.
Judy was born in Jacksboro, Texas, February 26, 1952. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.
On December 19, 1969, Judy married the love of her life, Larry. Together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love.
Judy was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church, where her Christian faith guided her throughout her life.
Judy dedicated 34 years of her career to PECOFacet/Parker Hannifin, where she was respected for her hard work, commitment, and integrity.
More than any accomplishment, Judy's greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She was known for her compassionate heart, gentle spirit, welcoming smile, and her ability to make everyone feel like family. Whether offering encouragement, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Judy made a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know and love her.
Judy is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Larry Wampler; her son, Lance Wampler and wife, Nicky; her daughter, Brandy Blaylock and husband, Dustin; her grandchildren, Cadie Jones and husband, Chance, Scout Wampler, and Sawyer Wampler; her great-granddaughter, Blakely; her brother, Joe Geer and wife, Ann; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that Judy is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy of love, faith, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A graveside funeral service celebrating Judy's life will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Barton Chapel Cemetery, Barton Chapel Cemetery Lane, Jacksboro, Tx 76458.
