Kenneth Nolan Tarlton

December 10, 1946 — April 11, 2021

Kenneth Nolan Tarlton, born December 10, 1946 in Fort Worth, Tx passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was at home with his loving wife and family and friends. He leaves behind wife, Jennifer; daughter, Morgan Polly and husband Bryan; his favorite and only grandson, Eli. Ken is also survived by his brother, Steve and wife Merrilyn and nephew Jesse of Golden, CO.

Kenneth met his wife Jennifer in 1980 in Fort Worth. They married on July 12, 1982 in Golden, CO where they lived at the time.

He played offensive tackle at the University of Texas for Coach Darrell Royal in the late 60’s. He was a leader as a camper and a counselor at Camp Longhorn. He passed on this legacy to his daughter Morgan and grandson Eli.

Ken practiced law in Mineral Wells from 1984, when he and Jennifer moved here from Denver, Co. He was past president of the Palo Pinto Bar Assn. and previous captain of the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Posse.

He loved to go saltwater fishing and bird hunting. He shared his love of fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He also loved to cook, especially in his electric smoker and grill.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
