Larry Edward McCanless

Larry Edward McCanless passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Bedford. He was born June 7, 1949 in Mineral Wells. Larry retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years. He later worked for American Airlines and American Eagle as a safety instructor. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Burton Monroe and Dolly Mae Owens McCanless and his sisters, Sandra Mulkey and Suzanne Stith.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his wife, Carol McCanless; children, Stephanie Freberg and husband Todd and Katherine Bartlette and husband Christopher; grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler and Arica; and his brother, Charles McCanless.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
