What feels like goodbye for us is a beautiful reunion for them. Our beloved Nana, Linda Yowell, was reunited with her one true love on September 3, 2025. While we grieve with heavy hearts, we find comfort in knowing that her longing has ended, and that she and Papa are together once more.
Nana’s gentle nature and love touched all who knew her. She always carried a smile, even in times of suffering. Her faith in God never wavered, and she faced every trial with grace, never dwelling on her own hardships. Nana’s strength was unmatched.
If you knew Nana, you knew love. She loved her family to the ends of the earth and poured her heart into every generation of children. Her goody bags at every holiday, the lilies she brought at Easter, and her joyful presence at family gatherings will be dearly missed. We love you Nana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Alan Yowell; son, Alan Yowell; mother, Emma Elaine Foskett; father, Ralph Foskett; and brother, Ralph Dean Foskett.
Linda is survived by her son, Kenneth Yowell; siblings, Mary Ann Floyd, Ronald Wayne Foskett, and Sharon Kay Snoberger; grandchildren, Joshua and wife Allison, Trent and wife Raini, Russell and wife Erica, Autumn and husband Anthony, Jacqueline, Dillon, and Makenna. She was blessed with ten great-grandchildren: Ivanna, Aubree, Matthew, Raylee, Ayvan, Isaiah, Adrian, Ian, Maya, and Ayla, as well as one great-great grandchild, Leo.
Please join us in honoring Nana’s life on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells.
