Lonnie Michael McAllester

Lonnie Michael McAllester passed away, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home. He was born February 3, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Tx the son of Marvin and Patsy McAllester. Mike was a member of the Masonic Lodge #611 from 1985 to present and the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Possee from 1993 -2005. He was a Military Police in the US Army. He worked as a patrolman in New Orleans after getting out of the service. From there he worked for Dresser Atlas Offshore before moving to Mineral Wells. Mike worked for the Mineral Wells Police Department from 1985 till he retired as the Chief of Police in 2011.

He deeply loved his family and friends. His passions included playing golf and fishing with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Annette; children, Donnie Prest (Jamie), Michael McAllester (Audrey), Loni McAllester (Paul), Jennifer Schroeder (Dustin), Mack McAllester (Taylor), Kayce McAllester (Witold); 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Barbara Giordana, Dave McAllester, Anita McAllester; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm, Monday, December 7, 2020 at Holiday Hills Golf Course.
