Louis Paul Jefferson Shelton

April 30, 1944 — February 12, 2022

Louis Paul Jefferson “Jeff” Shelton of Palo Pinto, Texas was a caring husband, father, grandfather “Pa”, brother, and friend. He left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on February 12, 2022 at the age of 77.

Jeff was born to Louis Paul Shelton and Evelyn Eugena Phelps on April 30, 1944 in Stephenville. He graduated from Santo High School in 1962. He then enlisted in the US Army where he was a tank driver. He received an E5 ranking. Jeff met the love of his life, Carol, and they were married January 26, 1968 and had 1 daughter, Deborah.

Jeff was a machinist and tool dye maker for over 30 years working at Antenna Products, Metco Electra and retired from Haliburton in 1997.

His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, and later in life he began to enjoy making jewelry. His specialty was spoon handle keychains which he enjoyed giving away to everyone he met. He always said the best times of his life were when he married his wife and had his grandkids. They brought him so much joy.
