Lucy Lee Bryant

Lucy Lee Bryant, 94, of Weatherford, Texas passed away peacefully on March 24^th, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 24^th, 1929 to Thomas Paul Shelton and Nancy Shelton in Moody, Texas.

Lucy met Jim Bruce W. Bryant in Mineral Wells, Texas. Lucy and Jim went on to have 7 children.

Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She spent her years taking care of her family and forming a long-lasting relationship with God. Among taking care of her family, Lucy had a love for cooking, writing poetry, painting, and listening to and singing music.  

Lucy Bryant is preceded in death by her son: Tommy Bryant and husband Jim Bryant. She is survived by 6 children: daughters, Betty Jean Morales, Carolyn Tagliaferro, Rose Hindall; son, Jimmy Bryant; daughters, Rita Bryant, and Christina Bryant-Lopez; 25 grandchildren; 48 great- grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and 3 great-great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and family friends.

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, 302 West Hubbard Street, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067. Graveside service will follow at Dobbs Valley Cemetery, 737 Dobbs Valley Rd, Mineral Wells, TX 76067.
