Marilyn Loraine Askins

Marilyn Loraine Askins passed away February 24, 2020. She was born October 1, 1960 in Mineral Wells. Marilyn was the neighborhood mom, her front door was always open. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her mom, Wynell Bolton Crisp; brothers, JC Crisp and David Crisp.

Survivors include her spouse, Clifton Thornton, Sr.; children, Clifton Thornton, Jr., Cheryl Young and husband Lowell, Daniel Rhoades; grandchildren, Dustin, Emily, and Tristan Thornton, Daisy and Peyton Mimick, and Kaden Rhoades; father, Clint Hawkins; brothers and sisters, Sandra Pilkington, Delbert Hawkins, Clint Hawkins, Jr., Pam Hawkins, Kent Hawkins, Keith Hawkins; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
