Mary Belle King

Mary Belle King, 91, passed peacefully on May 21, 2025. Born on July 2, 1933 in Blytheville Arkansas, Mary was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was known for her warmth, wisdom and unwavering love for her family. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and her legacy will live on in the many lives she influenced.

She is survived by her son, John Lewis Sr and wife Mellissia; daughters Letha and Marilyn Lewis; sisters, Shirley and Beverly; grandchildren, Stacey Stubblefield and husband Daniel, Taylor Lewis, John Lewis Jr, Jennifer Lawhorn and husband Danny, Toni Morris and husband Scotty, Chris Lewis and wife Amy, Misty Walker and Anna Gaskin and husband Roger. She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Olen King, Jr; parents, John and Letha Doss; daughter, Mary Walker; sons, Gary Walker and Pete Lewis; brothers, Howard and Johnny Doss; granddaughter, Stephanie Lewis; and great granddaughters, Raylin and Shaylin Stubblefield.

Funeral arrangements have been made with Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, TX for Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 10 am. Followed by graveside at Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 5pm-7pm.

Family would love to thank the staff at Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab and Solaris Hospice for the great care they provided.
