Michael Rhea Crites

Michael Rhea Crites passed away July 14, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. He was born September 1, 1950 in Littlefield, Texas, the son of Dee Low and Rachael Elizabeth (Tidrow) Crites.

Michael was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp after serving during the Vietnam War.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Racheal Elizabeth Crites; brother, Gary Stamper; brother at arms and family friend, Lamar Crounse; and son-in-law, Dale Sanders.

Survivors include his daughter, Angela Sanders; son, Nathan Crites; granddaughter, Elizabeth Crites; grandsons, Charles Roy Soto, Kyler Kirkpatrick, and Clay Ross; his great-granddaughter, McKinzey Rhea Ross; and numerous extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery 11 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2026.
