Millie Louise Scott

Millie Louise Scott passed away November 23, 2022. She was born April 11, 1931 to Virgil and Ethel Cox in Mineral Wells, TX. She married Homer Scott April 8, 1947. Millie worked for Walmart from 1994 to 2014 when she retired.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Scott; daughter, Diane Scott; 3 sisters; 1 brother; her parents; and grandson, Jeremy Johnson.

Survivors include her sisters, Clara Smith and Wanda Bell both of Mineral Wells; four children, Linda Scott of Mansfield, Carolyn Johnson of Weatherford, Glenn Scott of Weatherford, and Kim Robertson and husband Rodney of Weatherford; four grandchildren, Amanda Schnaubert and husband Stanley of Weatherford, Shawn Robertson and wife Carrie of Glen Rose, Cody Robertson and wife Brittany of Weatherford, and Lane Robertson and wife Vanessa of Grand Prairie; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Millie was a loving mother and doting grandmother who was passionate about her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sweepstakes, bingo, and dancing. Her special cravings were steak, ice cream and cinnamon rolls. She welcomed everyone, loved to laugh, and was always the life of the party.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Bethesda Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
