Nedra Lea Boetz, 79, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025. Born on August 2, 1946, she was the beloved daughter of Howard Clay and Catherine Raines, and stepdaughter of Clark Rains, all of whom preceded her in death.
A devoted mother, Nedra is survived by her son Brian Boetz and daughter-in-law Sara Boetz of Weatherford, Texas. She is also reunited in heaven with her son, Troy Boetz. Nedra’s legacy continues through her six grandchildren—Colten Boetz, Clinton Boetz, Tanner Riggs, Emily Bowland, Myka Hervey and Sarah Boetz—and her eight great-grandchildren: Kyler Riggs, Kambreigh Tinny, Kynlee Hervey, Kimber Hervey, Aspen Bowland, Nolan Riggs, Kye Taylor Ewing-Boetz and Kaci Layne Ewing-Boetz. She also leaves behind her two loving sisters, Nancy Williams and Beverly Worley, who shared many cherished memories with her.
Nedra spent over 40 years working at Palo Pinto General Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her compassion, dedication, and genuine kindness. She was known for her loving spirit and her willingness to help anyone in need. A joyful soul, Nedra treasured her casino trips with her sisters, where laughter and togetherness were always guaranteed.
A woman of strong faith, Nedra was a Christian and a longtime member of the Church of Christ. Her life was an example of generosity, love, and quiet strength, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on November 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home (302 West Hubbard Street, Mineral Wells, Texas, 76067).
