Norma Jean Roberson (Cole) passed away early January 4rd ,2023, surrounded by love and family.
She was born July 27th, 1942 in Jacksboro, TX to Clinton Wesley Cole and Leona Goldie Cole (Holt), and was the eldest of 5 siblings; Gary Dean Cole, her twin brother, Linda Darlene West (Cole) and Kathy Dianne Lowrance (Cole) her sisters, and her youngest brother, Charles Wesley Cole.
Norma was a strong Christian woman and a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who sacrificed everything for her children. She was always concerned about the welfare of others and took every opportunity to help those in need. She was an outspoken woman who lit up every room she entered and was loyal, honest, funny, and had a smile that was contagious. And now she is carried in the arms of the savior she adored.
Norma was preceded in death by parents, Clinton Wesley Cole and Leona Goldie Cole and twin brother, Gary Dean Cole. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Evans (Joel), son, Scott Roberson (Terry), Grandsons, Chad Roberts (Takara), and Brad Roberson (Vanessa), and her great-grandchildren, Kendall, Hannah, and Beau Roberson, as well as her sisters, Linda West and Kathy Lowrance, brother Charles Cole and several nieces and nephews.
While we will miss her dearly, we know that she is in Heaven, smiling and laughing with long-lost family and friends and singing in a choir of angels, hallelujah, let us rejoice.
Services are 10 AM Saturday in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro. Visitation is Friday from 5-7 PM in the chapel.
