Rayburn Van Glosup

Rayburn Van Glosup, 87, of Mineral Wells, TX, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. He was born January 11, 1939 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Marvin Van and Oma Faye Glosup.

Rayburn’s proudest accomplishment was his 33 years of service in the Air Force. After the military, he worked for Bennett's Office Supply in Mineral Wells for many years. Rayburn loved God, his family, and his country.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; two daughters Jeanette and Sharon; 3 stepchildren, Ann, Loyd, and Ty; sister-in-law Beverly and husband Jack, and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Gerald; 3 sisters, Elizabeth, Linda, and Faye; and 1 son, Darrell.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, August 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home, 302 W. Hubbard, Mineral Wells, TX 76067. Interment will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
