Robert Lee Hemphill

Robert Lee Hemphill went to be with his Lord and Savior in heaven on March 17, 2024. He joined the love of his life, Linda Loretta Hemphill, there.

Robert was born June 5, 1943 to Robert Lee Hemphill and Elizabeth Rogers Hemphill who preceded him in death. Robert had many friends and loved ones including nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Robert loved and attended Immanuel Baptist Church. He loved his church family very much. He enjoyed his guns and anything to do with them. Robert loved a good joke; telling them, acting them out with all the sounds, bells and whistles if possible.

Robert had several jobs in his younger days but he dearly loved his 31 years as a police officer in Mineral Wells. He met and made so many friends in and over all that time. Robert was an only child so his fellow officers at the police department became the siblings he didn’t have. He will be missed for sure.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Woodland Park Cemetery.
