Sheila Kay Porter

Shelia Kay Porter passed away January 13, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1953, in Mineral Wells to Durwood Porter and Estelle Ennis Porter. She lived happily at the Palo Pinto Nursing Home for the last 26 years of her life; where she was very close and spoiled by the nurses, nurses’ aides, administrators and therapists. The last 3 years she was cared for by Gentiva Hospice and received great care from everyone. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and support from Palo Pinto Nursing home and Gentiva Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her father Durwood, mother Estelle and sisters Glenda and Kathryn. She is survived by her sister Carolyn Veach and husband Steve, Sister Evelyn Callhoun and husband Mike, Sister Belinda Moss, Sister Loretta Fullbright and lots of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Shelia Kay Porter will take place on Saturday, February 7th at 10:00 a.m. at 302 West Hubbard, Mineral Wells, TX; all are welcome.
