Shirley Kay Mayhar, 77, passed away August 11, 2026 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was born September 16, 1948 in Texas.
Shirley leaves behind her daughter, Dena Marie Rice of West Monroe, La.; her granddaughter, Jacoba Marie Hoffman; several special friends, Siana Jean Deiter and Marie Elaine Crain all of West Monroe, La.; a cousin, Bill; and several church friends and many other friends, as she never met a stranger.
She was ready to see her heavenly father and her parents as they were waiting on her. Graveside services will be 10: 30 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Palo Pinto Cemetery in Palo Pinto,Texas.
