Teddy Kern White Jr.

Teddy Kern White Jr., 67, of Millsap, passed away on March 17, 2026.

Teddy often went by his middle name, Kern. Kern was born on May 14, 1958, in Weatherford, Texas, to Teddy White Sr. and Jimma Jordan. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1976. In the summer of 1981, he met the love of his life, Tammy, on a blind date. They went on to get married on February 12, 1982, and spent 44 years together.

Kern is preceded in death by his father Teddy Sr, his mother, Jimma; his uncle, Royce; and his brother, Bobby. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy, and their three daughters: Cassie McNutt and her husband, Tim; Tiffany Vanzant and her husband, Jake; and Kayla Binion and her husband, Kristian; and his brother, James White. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Eli, Emma, Jimma, Dawson, Teddy, and Birdie.

Kern worked as a truck driver for over 20 years, where he earned the nickname “Roadrunner.” He loved traveling the open road and seeing different places across the country, something that brought him great joy throughout his life.

Kern was known for his caring heart and his ability to accept everyone he met without judgment. He was deeply loyal and extended his love far beyond his immediate family, holding a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews. He especially cherished time spent watching his children and grandchildren play sports, always showing up with pride and support.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, March 24th, at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner in Mineral Wells at 6-8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on March 25th at Waterhouse Church in Weatherford, Texas, at 10 a.m. Followed by a graveside burial service at Newberry Cemetery.
