Teresa Kay Allen

Teresa Kay Allen, affectionately known as Gaga, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026. Born on September 18, 1957, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Johnny Rader and Bobbie Jo Glanton. Teresa was a radiant soul whose life touched the hearts of everyone she met. She grew up in the historic Baker Hotel, where her mother worked as a switchboard operator, and her childhood there inspired a deep sense of community and love for the world around her.

Teresa was a Registered Nurse for 47 years and spent the majority of her career working in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital that has since become Medical City Weatherford. Her unwavering commitment to her patients and their families paved the way for generations of nurses to come.

In her later years, Teresa rediscovered her love for the skies. She embarked on numerous expeditions to photograph the stars, comets, and northern lights, always sure to give the heavens more than just a passing glance. A lifelong dancer, she reminded her loved ones, "Always remember to dance. You’re never too old to dance," and took her own advice, dancing at any occasion she could. She also found great solace and joy at the beach, moved by the vastness of the ocean.

Teresa leaves behind her cherished granddaughter, Kenzie Allen.

A graveside service will be held on April 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Old Gordon Cemetery in Gordon, Texas.
