Teresa Kay Patton

Teresa Kay Patton passed away January 8, 2026 after a long, hard battle with cancer. She was born July 11, 1963 in Mineral Wells.

Teresa worked at Jones Café for 38 years and WalMart for 3 years. She was the most selfless woman; never gave up or let anyone go without. Teresa’s girls were her life and she lived for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Randy Howard, Amanda and David Rodriguez of Fort Worth, Kayla and Travis Odden of Mineral Wells, Tyler Doss of Oregon, Ashleigh Howard of Fort Worth, and Alexis MCullough of Mineral Wells; 9 grandchilren; 11 great-grandchildren; her mother, Wanda Howard of Mineral Wells; brother, Robert Schmittling, Jr.; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robin Howard, Arthur Patton, and Charlie Peugh; father, Robert Schmittling; siblings, Bobby Schmittling, Ricky Schmittling, and Kathy Vigeon.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Woodland Park Cemetery.
