Terry Lynn Shannon

Terry Lynn Shannon passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was born April 7, 1947 in Long Beach, CA. Terry was a lifelong resident of Mineral Wells. He loved Mineral Wells and his friends here so much that he wouldn’t move to Oklahoma to be with his sisters.  He was a graduate from Tarleton State University. Terry was funny and loved to laugh and have a good time with his friends, especially dancing. He lived his life for his mother, taking care of her the last 10 years of her life. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Gaunt Burson; brothers, Ben Shannon and John Shannon; and sister, Patsy Green.

Survivors include his sisters, Wanda O’Bannon, June Shannon Taylor, Rada Burson King, Nancy Burson Maxwell; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
