Tommy Gene Rammage Sr.
Our beloved Tommy Gene Rammage Sr. “Youngblood” born January 29, 1951 gained his wings on August 27, 2024. Tommy was born in Macon, Georgia to Charlie Rammage and Pauline Rammage. He was a Master Mason and Scottish Rites.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rita Rammage, of Mineral Wells, Texas, father Bobby Laws and wife Linda of Oklahoma, one son Tommy G. Rammage, Jr. and a daughter Teresa Shirley, husband James. He is also survived by a brother Wayne Rammage, wife Frances of Oklahoma, sister Bonnie Hull and husband Daniel. four grandchildren: Logan, Bailey, Taylor, and Cooper, five great grandchildren, and Aunt Annie Stains, husband Kenny of Georgia, Kenneth Brim and Mary Ann, and Cindy Jones and Danny.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charlie Rammage and Pauline Laws, brother Charles Rammage of Mineral Wells and granddaughter Brittany Rammage of Oklahoma and best friend Roy Gann.
Tommy was an enthusiast of the outdoors, camping, hunting, bass and catfish fishing. He considered himself a “Master of Grilling” for family and friends. Tommy would play moon dominoes with Wayne and Francis with this smarty comment “You bring enough napkins?”
His career was a welder in the pipeline and gas industry until retirement in 2012.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 30th at 716 SW 24th Street before 6 PM.
Pallbearers: John Paret, Tim Hopper, Gene Yeager, Thomas Smith, Michael Ross, and Joe Rincon.
Visitation is 6-8 PM Friday in the Chapel. Services are 1 PM Saturday in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial to follow 5:30 PM Saturday in Altus City Cemetery in Altus, Oklahoma.
