Val Gene Gilbert

Val Gene Gilbert passed away on October 10, 2021 from complications of dementia. He was born on December 28, 1935 to Rex and Dovie Wharton Gilbert.

He was a machinist and antique auto collector. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of Model A’s with his friends and helping others any way he could.

 He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gail Gilbert; sons, Terry Gilbert of Weatherford and Allen Gilbert of Fort Worth; nephew, Curtis Gilbert; nieces, Connie Bohnas and JoAnn Hunt; stepsisters, Barbara Foreman and Carol Gill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Gilbert.

The family has decided to honor his wishes, there will be no service. They ask that you remember him as he was a few years ago when he helped you with your project.
