Vicente Galindo passed away surrounded by the love of his family and the faith that guided his life on May 16, 2026.
He leaves behind his beloved mother, Carolina Galindo; and his siblings, Enid Silva, Antonio Galindo, Corinna Finau, Elizabeth Lea’aetoa, and George Galindo and wife, Melinda; along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Vicente devoted his life to God and lived his faith through service to others. Having overcome personal struggles, he turned his pain into purpose by becoming a counselor and mentor to those battling addiction. His compassion, understanding, and unwavering encouragement touched countless lives.
He had a generous heart and found joy in cooking for others, especially preparing meals for the homeless and those in need. Vicente believed in caring for people not only through words, but through action, kindness, and fellowship.
Though he never had children of his own, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. He treasured every moment spent with them—whether taking them to the movies, swimming, visiting the lake, or simply making them laugh. Vicente was truly a kid at heart, and his playful spirit brought joy to everyone around him.
Vicente also loved fishing and spending time with his men’s group, where he grew in faith and brotherhood with others devoted to God.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of faith, compassion, and service will never be forgotten.
