W. C. "Dub" Herring

W. C. “Dub” Herring, 90, passed away March 3, 2020 in Mineral Wells. He was born January 8, 1930 in Santo the son of Lossie and Lillie Sparks Herring. He married August Faye Spoon on August 4, 1953 in New Mexico and she preceded him in death on November 9, 2012. He was a veteran of the US Army. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. He is survived by his children: Jimmy Herring, Donny Herring and wife Mindy, Sue Vandygriff, grandchildren: Jeremy Vandygriff, Jason Vandygriff, Hannah Clary, Trevor Sparks, great-grandchildren: Alissa Bernard, James Vandygriff, Bricelynn Clary, and Carter Hill. He was also preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law: James Vandygriff, and all his brothers and sisters.
