Wanda Guinn

Wanda Joyce Guinn, 80, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019. She was born July 18, 1939 in Mineral Wells. Joyce married Arthur Jerry Guinn on June 30, 1957. She was a beloved teacher aide at MWISD for 35 years where she had many close friends. Joyce was a lifelong devoted and involved member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Joyce was preceded in death by her most beloved granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Maroon, who was anxiously waiting in heaven. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Dean and Merle Flowers Warren; brother-in-law, Milburn Guinn; and sister-in-law, Flo Flora.Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Jerry Guinn; son, Terry Guinn and wife Shelly of Eastland; daughter, Karen Guinn of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Curtis Guinn and Armenda Guinn; great-grandson, Karsyn Guinn; brother Bill Warren of North Carolina; sister, Charlene Tate and husband Greg of Waxahachie. She is also survived by her cousin, Barbara Mask of Aledo, who she grew up with and they still remained like sisters; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with burial following at Indian Creek Cemetery.
