Wanda Jean Savage

Wanda Jean Savage, 82, passed away on September 12, 2021 at Palo Pinto General Hospital surrounded by her children. Wanda was born May 17, 1939 in Mineral Wells, TX, daughter of the late Ivory Teed Garrett and Lizzie Davis. She married her late husband Elvis Lamond Savage on May 15, 1970. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband; brothers Raymond Garrett and Pat Garrett; and sisters, Irene, Lucille Moore, and Love Leggett.

Wanda will be dearly missed by her sister, Doris Hardin; children, Ricky Morris and fiancée Aarilyn Johns, Randy Morris and wife Leigh Morris, Gary Morris, Rhonda Nicklas and husband Jimmy Nicklas, Jay Morris and wife Donna Morris, Sheree Lemley and husband Brian Lemley; grandchildren, Ryan Lee and wife K’Cee, Nihla Kay, Pamela Morris, Raini Yowell and husband Trent, Shana Morgan and husband Hunter, Zachary Nicklas and wife Kelcee, Chelsea Morris, Tarah Moya and husband Michael, Nathan Nicklas, Sunni Lemley, Stormie Morris, Mary Morris, Jacob Nicklas, Brad Lemley, and Jess Lemley; 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda’s visitation and funeral services will be held at the Mineral Wells Church of God. Visitation is from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2 pm. A family and friend gathering will be held after graveside services at the home of Jimmy and Rhonda Nicklas. Face coverings during visiting hours and the service are optional.

The burial will follow the service at Woodland Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Lee, Zach Nicklas, Nate Nicklas, Jake Nicklas, Jess Lemley, and Brad Lemley. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Moya and Trent Yowell.
