Jannette Sipes

Jannette Blakley Sipes, 69, of Mineral Wells passed away peacefully Friday, November 24, 2023 surrounded by her family. She and her twin sister Annette were born to Roy and Irma Blakley on November 13, 1954 in Altus Oklahoma.

She was a long-time resident of Mineral Wells where her first job was at the Dairy Queen. Jannette later went to cosmetology school and did hair in Graford and Mineral Wells. The last several years her health wasn't good, but she enjoyed watching tv shows like Friends, Golden Girls, Mash, Reba and loved Joyce Meyer. Those who knew her and those who helped take care of her would tell you that she knew what she wanted; was persistent and demanding and would do whatever necessary to get it. Needless to say patience was not something she had. Jannette had 4 children although she wasn't able to raise 2 of them for reasons bigger than her, she loved all of them just the same. Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch.

Her loved ones left behind are daughters, Amanda Sipes, Karla Brock, Brenda Halbach; her son, Gary Sipes; grandchildren, Mariah Montelongo, Lynzi Plowman, Ethan Seymore, Lukas Sipes, Savannah Sipes, Aiden Sipes, Aubrey Sipes, Brittainy Roberts, Nathan Roberts, Lainey Roberts, Ashleigh Reed, Alexander Helbach, Amber Helbach, and Amy Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Harper And Harrison Plowman, Hayden and Hadley Montelongo, Kameron, Rayan and Raylee Brock, Anthony Reed, Angelo, Aveonna and Aizayah McKay, Apollo Payne, Ava and William Hunsaker, Jody and Kayla Toepfer; sister, Charlotte Fisher; sisters-in-law, Joyce Blakley and Betty Blakley; brothers-in-law, Mike Stoner and Dale Maloy; numerous nieces and nephews.

The loved ones she was reunited with in heaven are her parents, Irma and Roy Blakley; her twin sister, Annette Stoner; sister, Fairlene Maloy; brothers Roy, Terry and Randy Blakley; and a great-granddaughter, Amiyah McKay.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
