Wesley "Boomer" Hayley, Sr. passed away September 3, 2022 in Fort Worth. He was born May 15, 1962 in Seymour, Texas. Boomer was Specialist SFC E7 in the Army National Guard. He served from November 5, 1987 until he was Honorably discharged on April 14, 1994. He became an Ordained minister on May 6, 1991. Boomer founded Veterans United For Christ and it became official on February 26, 2021. He successfully helped 128 homeless Veterans get housing and jobs. Preceded in death by his parents, John Ed Sr. and Daisy Elizabeth Coleman Hayley and by his brother, John Ed Jr.

Boomer is survived by his wife, Melinda Hayley; children, JoAnna Denise, Wesley Don, Jr., Amanda, Hannah Samone, and David Allen; grandchildren, Shannon, Tristan by marriage, William and Amelia; great-granddaughter, Illiasvail; by his sister, Jerrie Klenk; brother by marriage, Randy; sister by marriage, Kyle Hayley; mother by marriage, Joyce Spurlock; brother by marriage, Tim and his wife Kellie. He was loved much by his nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and many great aunts, aunts, uncles & cousins.

Boomer's Celebration Service will be September 24, 2022 at 11 am at Eagle Mountain International Church. 14355 Morris Dido Road, Newark, Texas 76071.
