William Chance

William F. Chance, 60, lost his battle with cancer in his home on Saturday, November 24, 2018. He was a loving Husband, Father, Papaw, and Friend. He worked at Cantex in Mineral Wells, TX for 19 years. He helped his wife run the family business, Jones Café, also in Mineral Wells, TX. William lived a blessed life well loved. He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Chance, Jr. in 2017. He was survived by his loving wife Shirley Jones of Mineral Wells, TX; his mother Maxine Chance of Arlington, TX; his sons William F. Chance VI (Amy) of Fort Worth, TX; Stephen M. Goodwin (Kathe) of Mineral Wells, TX; Heath A. Goodwin, Sr. (Marisa) of Mineral Wells, TX; his grandchildren-who were the light of his life-Liam, Sam, Titus, and Aggie (Chance); Justin and Joshua (Campbell); Cheyenne (Goodwin); Heath Allen (Samantha), Allie and Andi (Goodwin); his brother-in-law and best friend James E. Jones; 5 brothers and 5 sisters, many nieces and nephews; his precious fur babies Sugar, Spice, and Brandy. William also left behind numerous extended family and friends including those at Cantex and Jones Café. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to the American Cancer Society.
