Willie Naomi Roe

Willie Naomi Roe, 90, passed away May 24, 2009 in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born September 1, 1918 in Van Zandt County, Texas the daughter of William and Dover Hyde Blunt. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was Pentecostal. She worked as a nurse's aid for 32 years. She married Pelton Frank Roe Sr. in 1950 in Dallas. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Chaplain Dwayne Lamberson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. She is survived by her children: Eddie C. Flora of Dallas, Daniel Anthony Flora of Dallas, Becky Lee of Mineral Wells, Dover Hatfield of Mineral Wells, and Pelton Frank Roe Jr. of Mineral Wells, grandson: Ed Matthew Osborune of Mineral Wells, and numerous other grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 18, 1988, son: John Flora, and all of her brothers and sisters.
