Ignacio Misao Wang

Ignacio Misao Wang, 80, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

Ignacio was born on Peleliu Island, Palau, on September 8, 1940.  He married Francis Villa, on June 29, 1965. He worked as a machine operator for The Box Factory for more than 50 years.  He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Ignacio was preceded in death by his wife, Francis. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Connie Wang of Irving; granddaughter, Morgan Wang of Carrollton; grandson, Aaron Wang of Irving; sister, Singeko Orkeriil of Guam; nephew, Bobby Francisco of Hudson Oaks; niece, Kaleisha Estes of Millsap; and numerous other beloved family.

Ignacio was a soft-spoken, thoughtful father, grandpa, and friend who loved his family and friends deeply and was greatly loved and adored in return.  His kindness and generosity in putting others’ needs above his own for anyone who needed help will be remembered by everyone who knew him. He was a fierce dominoes competitor who would challenge anyone to play, and he loved to tell a story.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, November 9, 2020 at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, Texas.
