Janice grew up in Haskell, Texas, until she moved to Hendrick Home for Children in Abilene, Texas in 1959 after the loss of her mother. It was there she met the self-proclaimed “love of her life”, Danny Jordan. The two of them had multiple adventures – Janice was full of wanderlust – but no adventure was more important to her than the creation of her family. Her love for them was evident in each moment of her vibrant life – and the way she showed that love was unique to every one. Janice had a distinct way of making everyone feel important, loved, and special. Her sense of humor was unrivaled.
